Belize City

When we arrived in Belize City. The other's went off on a tour and Sierra, Tanisha and I went into the city to see what it's like. We took a tour on a dilapidated horse drawn carriage and was accosted by every desperate Belizian we came across. It was a very uncomfortable place to visit. I am not a diva who isn't accustomed to 3rd world conditions. But I will never have the desire to return to Belize city again. It is a very dirty, desperate place. It feels dangerous and reminds me a lot of Jamaica. The people that I ran into hadn't perfected their stories to tell the tourists and they changed rapidly as I questioned further. I dislike being lied to so it made the experience harder for me to stomach. We negotiated a hair braiding and bought a few trinkets to try and help the people out. But their prices where ridiculously over inflated and all Mexican made. Can you tell Belize City wasn't a favored destination.. Not a recommendation. On the other hand, Malia, Chey and John had a wonderful visit to the ruins and an even more memorable dinner. So I am glad they took that adventure. I will do the same if I ever find myself in that situation again. Its always fun though to be with my little girls. We had fun together, just because we were together.

The formal dinner

During the cruise we had two formal dinner's in the dinning room. It was fun to get dressed up and eat with all our friends. We have some great friends. We laughed and reminisced and ate. What could be more fun than that? The kids all got to sit together too, without mom's and dad's monitoring everything. I think the reason we had so much fun was not because we were on a cruise but because we were with our friends.

The Nanna Sandwich

At the end of our visit to Cozumel it was time to say goodbye to Nana and grandpa. The Girls sandwiched their grandmother and the results were this great picture. By far one of my favorite pictures. Its a testament of the love these girls have for their grandmother.

Tulum

When we got to Playa Del Carmen, Nana and Grandpa met Tanisha, Sierra and I near the Ferry. While John and the two oldest girls headed off to tulum with the LDS tour. We along with Sonda and Randy Pawlenchuck went on our own down to Tulum. We met up with the rest of the family and our friends and played on the beach at Tulum. Wow.. what a great beach that is. I could have spend hours playing down there. It was a large cliff with a small beach area. It was definitely worth the visit. Tulum is a beautiful location. Its a very majestic location, we all had a great time.

Our First Stop - Cozumel

Our first stop was Cozumel. We all got off the boat and headed straight over to wait for a ferry to take us to the main land, Playa Del Carmen. While waiting of course we couldn't resist the fun pictures of Malia, Tanisha, Sierra and Stan Brown Surfing a huge wave. Do you think it looks real?

This Crazy group of people is the Carter and Brown Clan. One Big Happy mixed race Family.. Can you see the resemblance. Cheyenne asked me the other day if Browns could adopt her. That way she could really be related to both of us.
