The Nanna Sandwich

At the end of our visit to Cozumel it was time to say goodbye to Nana and grandpa. The Girls sandwiched their grandmother and the results were this great picture. By far one of my favorite pictures. Its a testament of the love these girls have for their grandmother.

Tulum

When we got to Playa Del Carmen, Nana and Grandpa met Tanisha, Sierra and I near the Ferry. While John and the two oldest girls headed off to tulum with the LDS tour. We along with Sonda and Randy Pawlenchuck went on our own down to Tulum. We met up with the rest of the family and our friends and played on the beach at Tulum. Wow.. what a great beach that is. I could have spend hours playing down there. It was a large cliff with a small beach area. It was definitely worth the visit. Tulum is a beautiful location. Its a very majestic location, we all had a great time.

Our First Stop - Cozumel

Our first stop was Cozumel. We all got off the boat and headed straight over to wait for a ferry to take us to the main land, Playa Del Carmen. While waiting of course we couldn't resist the fun pictures of Malia, Tanisha, Sierra and Stan Brown Surfing a huge wave. Do you think it looks real?

This Crazy group of people is the Carter and Brown Clan. One Big Happy mixed race Family.. Can you see the resemblance. Cheyenne asked me the other day if Browns could adopt her. That way she could really be related to both of us.

Malia is 16

Malia turned 16 Nov 20. I am so proud to call her my daughter. She has grown up to become such a fun, faithful, virtuous, creative, accomplished young woman. For her birthday she requested a dinner out with her family. So we went to the Chinese buffet where they serve everything from sushi to frogs legs. It was a nice dinner, but I have decided once and for all I hate buffets. I like to take home the leftovers and you never get too with a buffet. You spend more and really get less.. John of course can eat like a maniac but the rest of us can really only do one plate full. So its a waste in my mind.
